HCDE awards contracts - April 20, 2010

New contracts were approved for Tree Trimming for cooperative purchasing through Choice Facility Partners during the April board meeting of Harris County Department of Education, CFP’s sponsoring agency. Awarded a contract were Bartlett Tree Expert Company and Asplundh Tree Experts Company.

Also during the meeting contract awards were renewed for:
Job Order Contracting – Corporate Facilities Management Services (Region 12 primary, 6,7,10,11,13,14 and 15 secondary), Construction Masters of Houston (Region 3 primary, 2,4,6,13 and 20 secondary), Dura Pier Facilities Services (Regions 3-4 primary, 2,5,6,13 and 20), Herrera & Hunt, LLP. (Region 1-2 primary, 3 and 20 secondary), P2MG (Texas) and Structura Design and Construction, Inc. (Region 20 primary, 1,2,3,13 and 15 secondary); and
HVAC –.Brandt (national), Fort Bend Mechanical (Texas), Automated Logic / United Environmental Services (Texas) and TD Industries (national).

New Members
New organizations that became members when interlocal agreements were approved by the Board of Trustees for HCDE in February include: Allen ISD, Anthony ISD, City of Apple Valley, Minn., Ashford United Methodist Church, Copperas Cove ISD, Girls And Boys Preparatory Academy, Gregg County, Harris County MUD No. 55, Howard County, Lake Worth ISD, Leander ISD, Meadow ISD, Normangee ISD, Rusk County Electric Cooperative, Sam Houston State University and Ysleta ISD.
