HUB vendors to be showcased at HCDE HUB vendor fair

Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) vendors with a legal, competitively bid contract awarded by Harris County Department of Education will be featured at the HUB Vendor Fair, 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at HCDE, 6300 Irvington Blvd, Houston.

Governmental entities that have HUB requirements are invited to attend. Lunch will be provided by participating HUB vendors. To RSVP, contact

Speaker Christopher Burton, director of purchasing/HUB coordinator, University of Houston, will present “Changes in State HUB Requirements and U of H Requirements.” Continuing education units will be awarded to attendees.

Governmental entities may sign an interlocal contract with HCDE to access these legally procured contracts available through Choice Facility Partners and HCDE Purchasing Cooperative.
