Drury gains director position
Choice Partners announced that Jeffrey Drury is the new director of the purchasing cooperative of Harris County Department of Education. Drury is a native Houstonian who comes with 20 plus years of sales, marketing and management experience in facility-related areas, including responding to government RFPs, then selling to government entities using awarded contracts. He recently sold nearly $1 million through a Choice Partners contract. He also has served as supervising senior auditor for a corporate internal audit team of a Fortune 50 company, giving him experience in financial and statistical analysis.
Drury has a background in Total Quality Management, a master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas, and a bachelor’s degree in industrial distribution from Texas A&M University. He holds the lighting certified designation from the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions and formerly held the certified energy manager and certified lighting efficiency professional designations from the Association of Energy Engineers.

Mr. Drury replaces Derek Gillard who has moved to Pasadena ISD to serve as director of purchasing.
