Contracts awarded for cloud technology


New contracts were awarded in November for technology cloud services, food service management and temporary personnel services by the Harris County Department of Education board. They are available to members through Choice Partners.

 

Technology cloud services include
Software as a Service, which provides access to software through a browser, and was awarded to Hewlett Packard and IBM; and Infrastructure as a Service, which provides outsourcing of technology equipment, including servers, storage and hardware, and was awarded to ARC, IBM, Phonoscope Enterprise Group, SHI and SunGard.

 

Other newly awarded contracts include:

Food Service Management awarded
to to Lagniappe Dining Services dba Mr. C’s Deli (primarily for the Gulf Coast area); and

Temporary Personnel Services awarded to CBS Personnel Services, ExecuTeam Staffing LP, KeyStaff, Inc., National ProSource, ObjectWin Technology, Inc., Prime Systems/Directron and Superior Technical Resources, Inc.
